If you plan on fishing long into your senior years, you need to stay strong and healthy. Take a look at the how the people of the Mediterranean live well into their nineties while staying healthy and strong. Their diet of Mediterranean foods along with fish provide most of the important macro and micro nutrients needed for everyday good health.

Sardines and the grill, a very common combination throughout the Mediterranean.

My new video explains how fish play a major role in the Mediterranean diet. It was video-taped at the Senior Anglers of Escondido meeting in Escondido just a few days ago. There, I talked about the importance of the fish omega 3s and 6s, along with how fish collagen slows down aging. This video is full of good information about how Mediterranean foods and fish can help lead to a longer, healthier life.

Typical Mediterranean fried fish steak. Skin on, and seasoned with sea salt, saffron and lemon juice while frying in olive oil. Healthy and yummy!

Worried about keeping your kitchen safe while handling fish? I've got a great video on how to stay safe in your kitchen while cleaning, prepping and storing your fish called Seafood Safe Practices For Handling Fish. Check it out!
